What we are responsible for, and what we are not.

Our role

HealthTour Odisha is a marketplace and coordination service. We verify partner facilities, pass your reports to a registered specialist, obtain a written estimate, arrange travel and accommodation, and support you through your stay. We are not a hospital, a clinic or a healthcare provider, and we do not practise medicine.

The treating hospital's role

Your treatment is provided by an independent partner hospital, clinic or wellness unit under its own registration, its own consent process and its own contract with you. Clinical decisions, the standard of care and the outcome are that provider's responsibility, not ours. You will sign the provider's consent forms directly and receive the provider's own invoice.

No medical advice, no guaranteed outcome

Nothing on this website — page copy, FAQs, package descriptions, timelines or a specialist's preliminary written opinion given on documents alone — is a diagnosis, a treatment recommendation or a promise of a result. A treatment plan is decided by the treating doctor after examining you. Do not stop or change prescribed medication except on your own doctor's advice.

Emergencies

This site and service are for planned care. They are not an emergency service and cannot be used to obtain urgent medical help. In an emergency in India, call 108 or go to the nearest emergency department.

Estimates and prices

Prices are not published on this website. A written estimate is prepared for your case, is valid for the period stated on it, and lists inclusions and exclusions. An estimate is not a fixed-price contract for clinical care: it changes if clinical findings change the treatment, and any variation must be explained to you and consented to before it is incurred.

Payments

Hospital and treatment charges are paid to the treating provider against the provider's own invoice. Our coordination fee, where one applies, is stated separately and in writing before you commit. Travel, visas and insurance

We prepare hospital invitation letters and assist with travel arrangements. The visa decision is the Indian mission's alone and we do not promise an outcome. Your travel and medical insurance, and checking that it covers planned treatment abroad, remain yours. Fitness to travel is a matter for your treating doctor.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the coordination service we provide and, where a fee has been paid to us, to that fee. We are not liable for the clinical care provided by a partner, for a visa refusal, for travel disruption, or for anything arising from information you gave us that was incomplete or incorrect. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

Independence

HealthTour Odisha is a private marketplace. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or empanelled with the Government of Odisha, Odisha Tourism or any state health authority.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts at Bhubaneswar, Odisha having jurisdiction. [CONFIRM]
