Nature first
The environment is more than a backdrop. The campus is planned around the green that was already here, and the day is planned around the light.
About · The Reversal by Simino
Modern life asks us to keep moving. The Reversal invites us to pause. We built a green campus beside Jhumuka Dam where a comfortable stay, real wellness care, open-air recreation and honest Odia food sit on the same forty minutes' drive from Bhubaneswar.
Our idea
Fresh air. Restful sleep. Mindful care. Natural movement. Laughter. Nourishing food. Time shared without hurry. None of it is complicated, and almost none of it survives an ordinary week in the city.
The Reversal makes room for all of them in one place. Guests stay in comfort, take up wellness traditions with people trained to guide them, walk the trails, swim, sit on the lawn while the children run, and eat food that tastes like someone's kitchen rather than a hotel's.
We call it the reversal because the direction of travel matters more than the number of days. A weekend can turn a week around. A structured seven days can turn a habit around.
Our promise
A welcoming environment where guests recharge their energy, restore their sense of balance, and return to daily life revitalized — with a plan written for their own kitchen and their own calendar, not a generic handout.
What we hold to
The environment is more than a backdrop. The campus is planned around the green that was already here, and the day is planned around the light.
Rest, movement, food, recreation and mindful care all have a place in a balanced break. Treating one and ignoring the rest does not hold.
Every guest should feel comfortable, welcome, and free to take the campus at their own pace. Nothing on the schedule is compulsory.
The experience is grounded in Odisha — the trails around Jhumuka, the seasons, and the food served at the Odia dhaba.
Being straight with you
We would rather set the expectation now than have you discover it on arrival.

The same practitioners who assess you on day one review your plan on the last day, and call after you go home.
